2004 - Coniston
The 26th Saunders started from Coniston and used the area either side of Wrynose Pass. Despite severe weather conditions on the first morning, by the time competitors started to reach the overnight camp at the head of Great Langdale the rain had stopped and the camp was its usual social self. Day two saw brighter weather, but still provided testing courses to all who were able to finish.
