2008 Results - Helvellyn

The 30th Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon was held in wild and windy conditions over the Helvellyn fells. Starting at Fornside Farm in St. johns in the Vale competitors headed south before returning to an overnight Camp at Dowthwaitehead Farm. Navigation proved a challenge with low cloud covering the hills for most of the event.
